ITINERARY
Day 01

Arrive at Negombo and unwind from your adventure. Explore the town’s tranquil beaches and lively fishing culture.

Day 02

Visit the Chilaw temples of Mannarai and Munneswaram first thing in the morning. These temples are well known for their beautiful architecture as well as their religious significance. To continue your journey head to Kandy the capital city known for its rich culture. Start your city tour as soon as you arrive to make the most of the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic and the lively neighbourhood market.  

Day 03

Travelling to Nuwara Eliya? Don’t miss seeing the two major Ramayana sites Sri Baktha Hanuman Kovil and Seetha Amman Kovil. Savour the beautiful scenery of this hill country which is well-known for its tea plantations and chilly climate.

Day 04

Proceed to Bandarawela a charming hill city encircled by dense tea plantations and misted mountains after leaving Nuwara Eliya. See the peaceful Hindu shrine of Gayathri-Peedam dedicated to the goddess Gayathri and Divurumpola the location mentioned in the Ramayana where Sita is said to have met the Agni Pariksha. 

Day 05

Discover the well-known Ravana Caves and Ravana Falls in Ella which may have connections to the Ramayana. Explore the revered temple at Kataragama a significant Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage site. 

Day 06

Take a late-morning look at the renowned Lord Murugan temple. Examine the unique coastal area of Ussangoda which is thought to be Hanuman’s landing site during his search for Sita. Your full-day tour of the historically significant Rumassala Temple in Galle is completed with visits to the Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Colombo and the Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa. 

Day 07

Spend your final day exploring Colombo, visiting key sites and shopping for souvenirs before your departure.
